TUCKER, Ga. -- The holiday season is in full swing for one lucky Georgia Lottery winner.

Edison Vargas Cruz won a $400,000 top prize playing the instant game 20x the Money.

"I don't play a lot, but I saw a couple of guys buy tickets," said the 35-year-old construction worker. "They won a lot of money, so I started to buy some. I bought the ticket after work, and at first I thought I'd won $40."

To his surprise, Cruz walked away with $400,000. A Knoxville, Tenn. resident, he was working construction in Atlanta when he won.

The Shell Food Mart on Pleasantdale Road in Tucker sold the winning ticket.

Cruz said he plans to visit family in Puerto Rico over the holidays, and to spend the prize on a new car and "something for my sister and niece."
