SWAT standoff ends near Tucker | News
TUCKER, Ga. -- An overnight standoff ended peacefully early Wednesday near Tucker.
DeKalb Police and SWAT officers were called to the Bentley Place Apartments off Tucker Norcross Road at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday for a domestic disturbance.
Details about the disturbance were not immediately available, but SWAT team members surrounded a unit where a man was holed up for hours. Police did not believe there were any hostages and no one was hurt.
The suspect was brought out in handcuffs at about 4 a.m. His identity was not released.
