The 2011 crowing of Miss Georgia Latina and Miss Teen Georgia Latina will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at the Americas Mart, Building 3 in downtown Atlanta beginning at 5:00 PM.Tickets to the event are $25.00 and can be purchased online prior to the event or $35.00 the day of the event.


Miss Teen Georgia Latina and Miss Georgia Latina will recognize young girls from the ages of 14 - 16 and young ladies ages 18 - 27 who embody beauty, style and personal development allowing the opportunity to compete in a pageant that welcomes their Latin, Caribbean and Iberian heritage. The contestants are of Costa Rican, Peruvian, Mexican, Ecuadoran, Colombian, Puerto Rican, Panamanian, Honduran, Haitian, and Spanish decent.   

This will mark a new beginning for Miss Georgia Latina and Miss Teen Georgia Latina.

"My goal was to bring ladies from all diverse Latina groups together to reflect beauty, confidence, originality and the importance to be proactive in their community", says Director Erika Mitchell. "This is a new chapter and we are excited to have the 2011 event in the city of Atlanta." During the event, the contestants will compete in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and interview. All contestants will wear their choice of swim wear being provided by Lisa Porter

Nineteen Latina women will compete for more than $5,000 in scholarships and prizes. The contestant who is crowned Miss Georgia Latina 2011 will then compete in the Miss Latina US in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in May 2011. Miss Latina US will then represent the United States and compete against title holders from other Latin American countries for the chance to become Miss America Latina Del Mundo (Miss Latin America of the World)."2011 Miss Georgia Latina Beauty Pageant will be a great symbolization of accomplishment and celebration of building self esteem, confidence and talent through pageantry with the beautiful contestants.
