ATLANTA -– The most wonderful time of the year is right around the corner! To help families get in the "ho-ho"-holiday spirit, Atlanta-area Simon malls are hosting a variety of festive activities and special entertainment all November and December long! With Giving Tuesday, Macy’s Great Tree Lighting, Santa’s Arrival celebrations, local choir performances, photos with Santa and more, Lenox Square, Mall of Georgia, Northlake Mall, Phipps Plaza and Town Center at Cobb offer a magical holiday experience that is enjoyable for the entire family!

Fashion Project: October 27 – November 10 – Lenox Square is teaming up with Fashion Project to offer mall guests the opportunity to donate their gently worn clothing to benefit charitable causes. Fashion Project is the premiere online clothing donation service committed to using fashion as a force for good. The program accepts women’s clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories from brands such as Free People, Tory Burch and Prada. Upon receipt of the Donation Bag at Fashion Project Headquarters, Fashion Project will sort and sell the items, donating 55% of the proceeds to the donor’s charity of choice. In addition, for every five qualifying items, the donor will earn a $20 Simon Giftcard. Macy’s Pink Pig: November 1-January 4 – For more than 50 years, Atlantans have started their holiday traditions by riding the Macy's Pink Pig! Families are invited to take a ride through a life-sized storybook adventure featuring Priscilla the Pink Pig and her friends. Photos with Santa: November 7-December 24 – Families and friends can come by the Macy’s Court to capture the meaning of the holidays in a photo with Santa – perfect for holiday cards and memorable keepsakes. For photo set hours and more information, check simon.com/mall/lenox-square.

Pet Photos with Santa: November 9 and November 16 – Furry friends love the big man in red too! From 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., shoppers can bring their cats and dogs for a picture with Santa in the Macy’s Court. Please use the Main Mall Entrance near Sprinkles and Nike. Caring Santa: December 7  Caring Santa is a private event designed for children and young adults with special needs and their families to have an opportunity to visit Santa and have their photos taken. Lenox Square has made necessary adjustments to the environment to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children of all abilities for this special event. The event will be held during private mall hours in the Macy’s Court from 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. In order to provide a calmer sensory-friendly environment, families are asked to enter the mall using the Main Mall Entrance in between Sprinkles and Nike.

The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program: November 20-December 13 – Lenox Square partners with The Salvation Army for their annual Angel Tree program, which provides new clothing and toys for children of families in need. Please check simon.com/mall/lenox-square for program location and schedule.

Macy's Great Tree Lighting: November 27 – The 67th annual landmark event takes place in the heart of Lenox Square on Thanksgiving night with live musical performances, entertainment and fun!  Come join thousands of other locals for this special and unforgettable Thanksgiving tradition.

Sounds of the Season: December 1 – 11 – Enjoy live holiday music performances by talented area groups, including schools, church and community choirs across the metro-Atlanta area.

Menorah Display: December 16 – 24 – Shoppers can enjoy a Menorah display in the Neiman Marcus Wing.

South Gwinnett Rotary Club Christmas Trees for Charity: November 8 - December 24 – Mall of Georgia helps to spread the charity cheer with the South Gwinnett Rotary Club Christmas Trees! Four trees are decorated by a local charity, including Annandale Village, Covenant Counseling & Family Resource Center, Family Promise of Gwinnett and the Lawrenceville Boys & Girls Club. There will also be a donation box for families looking to support these organizations.

Santabration: November 8 – Mall of Georgia invites families to welcome the arrival of the man in red in the Village from 5 – 7 p.m.! This spectacular celebration – presented by AutoNation Toyota & Fiat – includes the Christmas Parade, performances by the Academy of Performing Arts Superstar Dancers, the 50 foot tree lighting and a special Movies Under the Stars screening of Elf on an impressive 55-foot screen! Pet Night with Santa: November 23 and December 14 – Shoppers are invited to bring their furry friends to have holiday photos taken with Santa in Nordstrom Court on either November 23 from 6 – 8 p.m. or December 14 from 7 – 9 p.m.

United Hospice Tree of Memories: November 28-December 24 – This season, the Tree of Memories will spread its love and warmth to Mall of Georgia shoppers, allowing those who have lost loved ones to share their favorite memory on a memory card and place it on the Tree of Memories.

Red Cross Blood Drives: November 28-30; December 13-14 & December 26-28 – Mall of Georgia invites shoppers to spread the holiday cheer and help save lives by donating blood! Trained Red Cross staff will be collecting donations from 12 – 5 p.m. in the Upper Level near Dick’s Sporting Goods. Log on to redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment in advance. Giving Tuesday: December 2 – #GivingTuesday is a global day to recognize the joy of giving back! Join Mall of Georgia in supporting local charities as they set up tables inside the mall and share their mission with shoppers. A wonderful way to give back to the community! Sounds of the Season: December 4-5, 11-12 & December 19 – Local elementary, middle and high school choral and orchestra groups put on exceptional holiday performances in the Food Court from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Simon Kidgits Club Breakfast with Santa: December 6 – From 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. in the Food Court, guests can enjoy holiday crafts, breakfast and one-on-one time with Santa himself! FREE breakfast for Simon Kidgits Club members (while supplies last). Breakfast for non-members is $5, which includes an annual Simon Kidgits Club membership. GMC Monday Night Football Ultimate Tailgate TourDecember 6 & 7 – Football fans! the GMC Monday Night Football Utlimate Tailgate Tour is coming to the Mall of Georgia on Saturday, December 6 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and on Sunday, December 7 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Fans can meet NFL players and legends, test their skills in NFL Combine drills, play Madden NFL 15 and even have a chance to win Monday Night Football tickets! Santa’s Arrival: November 22 – Ring in the holiday season by welcoming Santa to his Winter Wonderland at the Center Court! Kidgits Club members are invited to enjoy crafts, games, music, letter-writing to Santa and more from 2 – 4 p.m. This event is free for Simon Kidgits Club members; $5 for nonmembers includes an entire year of activities.

Santa Arrival: November 1 – Get into the holiday spirit from 6-8 p.m. with the annual Santa’s Arrival Celebration! Welcome Santa and his reindeer as the Walker School Marching Band escorts them to the Food Court Main Entrance at 7 p.m., followed by a magical snowfall. Guests can look forward to face painting, activities, giveaways, balloon artists and much more! Santa will be available for pictures and visits until 9 p.m. that evening, and the first 200 people to visit Santa will receive a special gift!
