NORCROSS, Ga. -- The Norcross Cooperative Ministry announced a new initiative to raise $4.2 million over the next five years on Friday.

According to NMC Campaign Director John McCrory, Restoring Hope! will help those in need in the greater Norcross area.

Three programs will make up Restoring Hope!, including the goal to transform lives by reducing poverty, distribute emergency housing and non-food needs to families, and educate the community on needs of those living in poverty in Norcross.

Senior Pastor at Perimeter Church, Randy Pope and Jim Ellis, President of the Jim Ellis Automotive Group will serve as co-chairs of the campaign's Leadership Council. According to Ellis, this is an important initiative for NMC at a great time.

Pope says: “Restoring Hope! is a dynamic program that will meet the current and future needs of the Ministry and the thousands of people they serve.” Pope adds, “The Norcross Co-op and Director Shirley Cabe have done an outstanding job over the last 25 years. Now, this new five-year program will take this important ministry to the next level. The Restoring Hope! initiative will enable us to help so many more and in such a better way.”
