TUCKER, Ga. -- Tucker Flower Shop is this year's winner of the Downtown Tucker Holiday Decorating Contest.

The Main Street Tucker Alliance, Tucker Business Association and Tucker Historical Society announced the winners Wednesday.

Julia McDonald, owner of Tucker Flower Shop, received a $500 prize for her decorations.

The Custom Frame Shop and owner Kelly Holloway received the $300 second prize, while Village Shoe Service and its owner Larry Schupbach placed third and won $200.

Matthews Cafeteria received an honorable mention.

"The judges had a hard time deciding on the winners," Honey Van De Kreke, co-general manager of the Main Street Tucker Alliance, said in a statement. "All the participating businesses came up with imaginative ideas that really brought the holiday spirit to downtown Tucker."

Be sure to swing through downtown Tucker before the end of the holiday season to see all the beautiful decorations.
